📖 The story

Charming, beautiful, and absolutely lethal to anyone who says "I do." Your Sim marries for money, mourns for a moment, and moves straight on to the next wealthy suitor — leaving a tidy little graveyard of well-funded ex-spouses behind the manor.

🚀 Getting started

• Create a young-adult Black Widow with the traits **Snob, Romantic, Materialistic** (many versions add **Jealous**) and the **Serial Romantic** aspiration. Set lifespan to normal and turn **aging off for every Sim except the Black Widow**. Move into a cheap starter home.
• Create the Black Widow; set aging off for all other Sims in game options.

📋 General rules

• **No job, ever** — all money comes from spouses. You may earn from selling collectibles, fishing or woodworking *only* before your first marriage or between spouses.
• **No money cheats.**
• **No repairs** — when something breaks, you must *replace* it with Simoleons (a widow doesn't do hard labour).

✨ Specific rules

• **Only marry single Sims.** To marry an already-partnered Sim, delete their other household members first (so their funds transfer to you).
• After each marriage, host a **Dinner Party** and earn at least a **silver** rating — proof you're the "perfect spouse."
• Take a new love interest and **get caught cheating** by your spouse (it's the motive). You may juggle many love interests at once (and it speeds Serial Romantic).
• Then end the marriage — the Black Widow must **witness** each spouse's death — and keep the urn/tombstone, labelled **"Killed by the Black Widow."**
• The home must **grow in size and value** with each new spouse. Letting a spouse die of natural causes is a failure of the role (and costs satisfaction).
• Outlive **ten** spouses.

✅ What you can do

• Marry single Sims and host a silver-rated (or better) dinner party for each marriage.
• Let the home grow in value with every spouse; keep aging on for the widow, off for the spouses.
• Use `bb.moveobjects`.

⛔ What you can't do

• No job and no money cheats — every Simoleon comes from spouses' inheritances.
• No repairing broken objects — replace them with new ones, draining the inherited fortune.
• Only ever marry single Sims.

🎮 If you don't own the packs

Fully base-game. The original adds Legendary scoring (all ten spouses before the widow becomes an Elder) and Specialist bonuses for trickier spouse traits.

💡 Strategy tips

• Build **Cooking** and **Charisma** early — they're what get your dinner parties to silver and your suitors to the altar.
• Target wealthy or employed Sims; a spouse who already has a job keeps earning for you after they move in.
• Keep a graveyard out back with labelled tombstones — it's both the scoreboard and the storytelling centrepiece.

🔥 Want it harder?

• **Legendary mode:** finish all ten spouses *and* the Serial Romantic aspiration before your Black Widow ages out of young adult.
• At least three spouses must themselves have the Jealous trait.

🏆 Scoring

The classic ruleset has difficulty tiers. Bonus points include **+2000** for completing the Serial Romantic aspiration, **+3000** for finishing all ten spouses **before becoming an Elder**, and a further **+3000** for the top "Specialist" difficulty. Some versions also require completing the **Mansion Baron** aspiration.
