🚀 Getting started

  • Create an occult founder of your chosen type and define the "curse" as that occult's hardest drawback (a vampire's Thirst, a werewolf's Fury, a spellcaster's Overload risk).
  • Become your chosen occult; commit to its drawback as the family curse.

  • One occult heir continues each generation.
  • The curse genuinely affects every heir — no quietly curing it.

  • Five occult generations must be completed.

An alien curse (Get to Work) works, or use base-game PlantSim/ghost lineage as the 'curse'; dedicated occult packs give the cleanest mechanics.

💡 Strategy tips

  • Occult traits usually pass to children of an occult parent — pair heirs to guarantee the gene continues.
  • Lean into the drawback as story: a vampire heir who can't control Thirst, a werewolf heir ruled by Fury.
  • Keep the bloodline producing heirs early; an occult line that fails to reproduce ends the run.
