The lights went out and never came back on. For an entire lifetime your Sim lives as though electricity was never invented — cooking over flame, reading by candlelight, earning a living with their hands instead of a screen.

🚀 Getting started

• Create a Sim and move into a simple home. Apply the Off-the-Grid lot trait (or simply refuse to use anything electric).
• Build Mode → add **Off-the-Grid** (enforces no power) if you want it airtight.

📋 General rules

• No electrical object may be used — ideally none placed at all.
• Cook with wood/fire alternatives; light with candles.
• Live a full, content life this way.

✨ Specific rules

• Income comes only from non-powered means (gardening, fishing, handcraft, woodworking by hand).
• No powered appliances, computers, TVs or lights.
• The Sim lives young-adult to elder under the rule.

✅ What you can do

• Cook and live with candles, fireplaces, fishing, gardening and hand-crafts.
• Set the lot Off-the-Grid to enforce it; use `bb.moveobjects`.

• No electrical objects at all — no TV, computer, lights or electronic appliances.

• Wood-fired stoves, fireplaces and grills cover cooking and warmth without a watt.
• Lean into "analogue" income — paintings, gardening, fishing, handcrafts all work power-free.
• In Seasons, plan hard for winter, when no electric heat means relying on fireplaces and warm clothing.
